The aim of the project is to support the MDAT in its various specific missions and to build its capacity to achieve the objectives set in the context of strengthening the resilience of cities facing climate change (CC). The mission includes capacity building, stakeholder training, the integration of urban resilience into planning, as well as audit and monitoring and evaluation activities.

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is developing a project, with an annual capacity of 150,000 t of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin and 100,000 t of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin. ING Bank, a branch of ING-DiBa AG (Germany), has assigned SOFRECO as Lenders’ Technical Advisor (LTA) to the MGI Project. The LTA acts for the group of long-term lenders and has to periodically conduct a review and evaluation of the project construction and operation in terms of the actual progress of works against the specifications and contractual requirements, including any factors that have or could reasonably be expected to have a material adverse effect on the project.

Contribute to the implementation of the justice reform strategy and to the objectives set out in PARJ III. The overall objective of PARJ III is to help consolidate the Rule of Law and good governance in Tunisia. In the framework of the 2016-2020 Action Plan, the programme has three specific objectives: (i) Strengthen the independence and impartiality of jurisdictional authority; (ii) Support the justice and penitentiary reform process (particularly in civil and commercial matters) by building the institutional and operational capacities and skills of the beneficiaries, to achieve a more efficient and better quality justice system; (iii) Strengthen access to a quality system of law and justice for all with a specific focus on the rights of women, children and people living in vulnerable situations.
