The aim of the project is to contribute to the sustainable, climate-resilient socio-economic development of the communities around the Limpopo National Park, through an integrated approach combining ecosystem, animal and human health. As part of this mission, the technical assistance team is supporting the OLOH project and the Peace Foundation in all aspects of the project: participatory land planning, sustainable development of livestock farming, socio-economic development, natural resource management, project management, monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Project Management Consultancy mission to the SONATREL Project Management Unit for the implementation of the regional component of the Interconnection Project of the Cameroon and Chad Power Grids. In Cameroon, the planned works include the construction of 650km of 225kV line, the construction of 3 substations (225/30kV) and the extension of 2 substations (225/110/30kV and 225/90/15kV), as well as the rural electrification of more than 400 communities along the HVB line.
The Ginger SOFRECO/RTEi consortium, as the Project Management Consultant, is responsible for: i) updating the preliminary and detailed design studies, the ESIA and RAP studies and the hazard studies; ii) drawing up the tender documents and assisting with the procurement process; and iii) monitoring and supervising the works (HV line, substation and rural electrification), including monitoring the implementation of environmental and social protection activities, and providing assistance during the warranty period.

The overall objective of the National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN) is to contribute to the reduction of undernutrition. The primary goal of the NIPN is to build the capacity to analyse data for assessing progress, informing policy and improving nutrition programmes. In particular, the NIPN aims to establish relationships between nutrition indicators and any investments made in nutrition in order to better understand and guide strategic nutrition policy choices and priorities. The technical assistance provides support on the needs assessment, the integration of nutrition-sensitive sectors into nutrition policies and advocacy and capacity building in statistical and data analysis.

The PROMOVE Programme is part of the EU’s overall approach to rural development under the 11th EDF. The overall objective of the Programme is to contribute to sustainable, equitable, inclusive and broad-based economic growth and to poverty reduction in the context of national food and nutrition security (FNS) and climate change through improved, equitable access to food, and equitable access to public goods and services in the rural areas of the Provinces of Nampula and Zambézia. The technical assistance services for the PROMOVE Transporte Programme aim to provide assistance to the National Authorising Officer (NAO), the National Road Administration (ANE) and the Road Fund at the central and provincial levels and to the European Union Delegation in Mozambique with their oversight of these projects.
