Project Management Consultancy mission to the SNE Project Implementation Unit for the implementation of the regional component of the Project for the Interconnection of the Cameroon and Chad Power Grids. In Chad, the planned works include the construction of 238km of 225kV line, the construction of 2 substations (225/30kV and 225/90/15kV) and the extension of 1 substation (225/90/30kV), as well as the rural electrification of more than 70 communities along the HVB line.
The Ginger SOFRECO/RTEi consortium, as the Project Management Consultant, is responsible for: i) updating the preliminary and detailed design studies, the ESIA and RAP and the Hazard Studies; ii) drawing up the tender documents and assisting with the procurement process; and iii) monitoring and supervising the works (HV line, substation and rural electrification), including monitoring the implementation of Environmental and Social Safeguard activities, and providing assistance during the warranty period.
