Key Expert 2 - Surveyor for field inventory/survey / measurement of water supply infrastructures, Nigeria (Enugu)

The SOFRECO Consortium has been selected by the French Development Agency to provide consultancy services for cartography / mapping of existing Enugu urban water supply networks (AFD Support to 3rd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project). The assignment is expected to start as soon as possible, and has a duration of 5 months.

SOFRECO is currently looking for the key expert 2, Surveyor for field inventory/survey / measurement of water supply infrastructures, for a part-time positions during the entire length of the assignment (5 months). The total input of KE3 is 3.5 p-m on field.

The GIS expert will participe in the following tasks:

• Kick-off and initial tasks;
• Inventory of the existing water supply network and it's infrastructures;
• Preparation of base maps;
• Cartography/Mapping of the network and building of the database;
• Basic training of the Client in order to master main procedures related to the assignment.

The KE2's profile needs to match with the following selection criteria:

• International experience;
• Civil engineer or University Master degree (min 5 years);
• Minimum 12 years of general experience;
• Minimum 10 years of specific experience;
• Experiences in inventory/survey/measurement of roads and networks, especially buried
  networks including water supply infrastructures;
  
• At least 5 projects in cities of 50 000 inh., including at least 3 projects in water supply, at least 3 projects in Africa, and at least 2 projects with specific inventory of pipes and assets. Projects can be the
  same one if the satisfy the conditions.
