Training on 'Management of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts' and remote coaching on the use of specific IT tools for budget planning (2022-2023) |
The mission consisted of training senior officials from public administrations in Southern, Central and West Africa on the theme: Management of Public-Private Partnership Contracts. This 10-day training course was designed to strengthen skills as well as theoretical and technical knowledge in the field of public-private partnership management. In addition, 10 hours of individual coaching was organised by distance learning on the use of specific IT tools for good budget planning. |

| Training in results-based management of development cooperation projects (2023) |
The OIF wanted to strengthen the professional technical skills of project managers in order to improve the quality of the cooperation projects it deploys in terms of results-based management, project management and performance. To this end, SOFRECO organised and facilitated training sessions for 30 IFM project managers, organised in two groups of 15 people each, to strengthen their capacity to manage cooperation projects based on results, based on best practices and tools used in the field of development cooperation project management. |

| Recruitment of a consultancy firm to provide leadership and management training for school directors (2023) |
The PRAASED, whose development objective is to improve school performance at the primary and secondary levels, and to strengthen the effectiveness of certain management systems, included capacity-building activities to improve the quality of services provided by managers, teaching advisers, inspectors and central and departmental directors (involved in school management). To this end, leadership and management training for 24 school directors from across the country covered the following modules: i) Strategic planning, administrative and pedagogical management of the school, ii) Leadership, organisational leadership and problem solving (complaint and conflict management), and iii) Management, resource mobilisation and institutional monitoring/evaluation. |
| Training course on 'HR Management and Job and Skills Management' (2023) |
The mission consisted of training officials from Madagascar's Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development on the subject of HR management and job and skills management. The aim of this 5-day training course was to strengthen the participants' skills and theoretical and technical knowledge in this area. At the end of the training, the participants would be able to: 1) formalise the organisation's strategic approach, 2) steer the creation/updating of tools for describing professions, jobs and skills, 3) identify key positions/jobs and assess their degree of criticality, 4) design an employee assessment and career support system, and 5) implement remedial measures. |

The mission consisted in training senior officials from public administrations in Southern, Central and West Africa on the subject of “Project development: needs, feasibility, financing”. The aim of the 10-day training course was to enhance participants' skills and their theoretical and technical knowledge in project development. Following the course, participants were able to manage the preparatory phase of development projects. |
