The Project assists the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (RGoZ) in creating an effective legal and regulatory environment for promoting renewable energy projects and facilitating private sector participation through a well-structured tendering programme. Phase 1 of the project focuses on the gap analyses, legal reforms, risk assessments, tender strategy formulation, capacity building and communication planning to ensure readiness for competitive bidding. Phase 2 involves executing the first renewable energy tender, providing end-to-end transaction advisory services, including bid management, evaluation and commercial close. The project aims to amalgamate technical, legal and financial knowledge, aligned with global standards in PPP renewable energy project tendering practices. |

The objective of the project is to reinforce EU-India cooperation on trade, innovation and digitalisation in line with mutually agreed priorities. Under Component 1, the project supports the three streams of EU-India negotiations (a Free Trade Agreement, a Geographical Indications Agreement and an Investment Protection Agreement). The support is provided through sectoral studies, stakeholder consultations, communication, policy advocacy, technical/legal analysis of market access barriers, etc., as well as via the support to the establishment of an EU-India Chamber of Commerce. Under Component 2, the project supports the Trade and Technology Council and the Connectivity Partnership. The action assists in mapping the Indian needs and matching European offers in priority sectors and developing tools to facilitate assessment and access to the Indian markets for European incubators, accelerators and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The project also aims to design and create a sustainable and effective online platform connecting the two ecosystems. |

| The objective of this mission is to provide a cartography of the water supply networks in the city of Enugu in Nigeria, based on an inventory of the existing water supply network and of its infrastructures by means of field investigations. After having defined a GIS suitable to the type of data and users, establishment of a mapping/cartography of the inventory in a GIS (on QGIS software), and provision of support to ESWC staff through training and periodic technical assistance to enable the efficient use of the GIS. |

The Hub supports sector-specific policies and the formulation of actions in the area of youth and provides support on the implementation of the Youth Action Plan as well as on the management of the Youth Sounding Board for international partnerships. The Hub is a flexible mechanism which provides on demand expertise to EC staff worldwide, and to a certain extent, to Member States’ staff. |
