Global objective: Support the Georgian administration in drafting the customs legislation necessary for the implementation of the new customs code.

Framework Contract Europaid, Lot 4: Project Evaluation for Democracy Programme supporting National and State Assemblies (2006)
The assignment consists in evaluating the progress made under the Democracy Project – a large programme supporting the Nigerian Parliament and State Assemblies to perform their core functions, such as lawmaking, representation and oversight, effectively. The Consultant will examine the relevance and impact of the project on the beneficiaries and draw the main conclusions for future projects in this field.

Strengthening the Public Internal Financial Control Structure (2006-2008)
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the Public Internal Financial Control (PIFC) structure, in line with international and EU standards, in the Republic of Croatia. This includes: enhancing the capacity of the central government institutions to implement PIFC, including Financial Management and Control (FMC) and internal audit; enhancing the capacity of the Central Harmonisation Unit (CHU) to implement its role fully in line with the Government approved PIFC policy; and increasing the awareness of the regional and local government budget users of the PIFC requirements.

Training managers of the CNMP through seminars and workshops;
Training and upgrading public administration and private sector managers involved in the public procurement process.
