The overall objective of the EUR 20 million SRRP programme is to enhance the economic efficiency of Infrastructure in Jordan, in terms of costs, quality and range of services, thus allowing to improve access of the population to infrastructure services (telecom, electricity, civil aviation, transport), in terms of coverage and affordability. The specific objectives of the SRRP programme are to: - Develop effective mechanisms of regulation of infrastructure in line with best international practices - Strengthen the capacity of the State to promote effective private participation in infrastructure in a consistent and transparent manner, and - Increase competition in infrastructure services. |
