Development of the common mining policy in the CEMAC zone (2022-2024)
Within an overall objective of developing a Strategic Framework dedicated to the emergence of a sustainable industrialisation, in service of the development of the Central African sub-region's integration, the project's specific objectives are: (i) the development of a Common Mining Policy for the CEMAC zone, (ii) development of a Strategic Plan for implementing this policy, and (iii) the identification of an appropriate Institutional Framewprk for implementing the strategic plan.

Studies, control and supervision of the construction works for the interconnection of the Cameroon and Chad power grids (PIRECT) (2024-2029)
Project Management Consultancy mission to the SONATREL Project Management Unit for the implementation of the regional component of the Interconnection Project of the Cameroon and Chad Power Grids. In Cameroon, the planned works include the construction of 650km of 225kV line, the construction of 3 substations (225/30kV) and the extension of 2 substations (225/110/30kV and 225/90/15kV), as well as the rural electrification of more than 400 communities along the HVB line.
The Ginger SOFRECO/RTEi consortium, as the Project Management Consultant, is responsible for: i) updating the preliminary and detailed design studies, the ESIA and RAP studies and the hazard studies; ii) drawing up the tender documents and assisting with the procurement process; and iii) monitoring and supervising the works (HV line, substation and rural electrification), including monitoring the implementation of environmental and social protection activities, and providing assistance during the warranty period.

The project aims to ensure the compliance of the timber legality assurance system (TLAS) for timber produced in the Republic of Congo with the requirements of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement of the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT VPA) in order to contribute to the strengthening and improvement of forest governance in favour of sustainable and more transparent management of natural resources in the Republic of Congo.

Formalisation of artisanal miners into cooperatives and small-scale miners into larger mineral and financial enterprises together with the design and implementation of an ASM remote-sensing monitoring system in the mining and steel sector (2019-2022)
With the Mineral Sector Support for Economic Diversification Project (MinDiver), the Nigerian government is willing to diversify its revenue sources and to increase its income from the mining sector, in particular from the artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sub-sector which prevails in the country.
This contract consists in the setting up of an IT unit with a GIS, database and remote-sensing applications to promote data acquisition by Ministry staff, the identification of areas of high mining interest by applying a remote-sensing monitoring system and field data acquisition, their analysis and interpretation, and, finally, the elaboration of a strategy for ASM formalisation by building the capacity of the administration and operators.

Analysis of the project’s contribution to the implementation of the National Rehabilitation Programme and in the execution of the 2001-2005(6) action plan. The evaluation included an analysis of the project's relevance - its contribution to improving the lives of handicapped persons; evaluation of the relevance of project objectives and indicators; evaluation of project organisation, and of the financial and human resources to reach the objectives.
