(iii) establishing a criteria-based and transparent teacher recruitment system.

Technical assistance for capacity building on safety and security training requirements of Turkish civil aviation (2015-2017)
The purposes of this project are as follows:
- To undertake activities that will help the operationalisation of a new civil aviation training centre in Istanbul by developing an effective training policy, programme, curriculum, and other necessary policies and documents focused on safety and security aspects based on the EU acquis and relevant international legislation in the air transport sector.
- To ensure the visibility of the training centre by developing a communication campaign targeting stakeholders and the general public in Turkey and abroad.

Technical assistance to improve the legal, institutional and regulatory framework for corporate governance in Russia, promote good corporate governance principles as embodied in the new Russian Corporate Governance Code and put the Code’s requirements into application.

Improving industrial energy efficiency (2003-2004)
Increase competitiveness in industry through energy efficient production by: 1) promoting energy management by way of energy auditing, reductions in energy consumption and energy efficiency; 2) developing and implementing a training programme for industrial managers; 3) further developing the training of energy auditors at the Energy Efficiency Centre; and 4) developing and implementing a system of voluntary certification for energy auditors (as subcontractor of Dansk Energi Management).
