Capacity building in the protection of intellectual property rights (2007-2009)
The objective of the project is to improve the industrial and intellectual property framework in BiH to meet the “TRIPS-plus” requirements, which will contribute to fulfilling WTO and Stabilisation and Association Agreement conditions as well as those of CEFTA 2006. The project supports the development of the BiH IP Institute’s institutional capacity so that it can ensure the conduct of all its necessary functions, the strengthening of the industrial and intellectual property legal framework in conformity with TRIPS-plus, and the application of legislation on intellectual and industrial property.

Improvement of preschool education in Serbia (2011-2014)
The IMPRES project aims at improving preschool education provision and broadening access for children, especially from disadvantaged groups. The project will support improvements in the quality of preschool curricula and expansion of the capacities of preschool institutions. The assignment includes the preparation and implementation of training programmes, advice on the improvement of preschool legislation, preschool teaching methods and the provision of preschool activities, as well as the organisation of conferences, workshops and study tours. Mobilisation of two long-term experts and multiple short-term experts.

EU Support to Competition and State Aid (2006-2008)
The objective of the assistance, within the framework of the long-term partnership between BiH and the European Union, was to contribute to progress in the Stabilisation and Association process and foster institutional development and economic growth in BiH. More specifically, the project aimed at developing the government’s capacity to regulate competition and design, monitor and control a State Aid system, hence improving the functioning of the BiH single market in harmony with the EU, leading to greater trade and investment within BiH.

Support to legal translators, interpreters and linguists (2010-2012)
Support to the University of Pristina (UP) to set up, strengthen and increase the sustainability and proficiency of initial and in-service training structures for translators and interpreters in a lifelong learning perspective.
The technical assistance will provide the following services:
- Institutional strengthening
- Curriculum development
- Training of trainers of professional translators and interpreters and training of teachers in interpretation and translation
- Study visits for trainers of interpreters and translators
- Creation of accreditation procedures
- Procurement activities to equip the UP.

Strengthening the Public Internal Financial Control Structure (2006-2008)
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the Public Internal Financial Control (PIFC) structure, in line with international and EU standards, in the Republic of Croatia. This includes: enhancing the capacity of the central government institutions to implement PIFC, including Financial Management and Control (FMC) and internal audit; enhancing the capacity of the Central Harmonisation Unit (CHU) to implement its role fully in line with the Government approved PIFC policy; and increasing the awareness of the regional and local government budget users of the PIFC requirements.

Support to the quality infrastructure framework within a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) context in the Republic of Moldova (2017-2020)
The project ‘Support to the quality infrastructure framework within a DCFTA context in the Republic of Moldova’ supports the efforts of the Government of Moldova (GoM) to progress in some of the crucial areas foreseen by the Association Agreement, which are linked with the improvement of public governance, economic recovery and growth, i.e.: 1) quality infrastructure, 2) market surveillance, 3) internal and external markets and opportunities, 4) competitiveness awareness in an AA/DCFTA context.
