The objective was to provide advisory support to MoF officials on designing a methodology for the major spending units to implement mid-term budgeting. |
| Organisation of Training for the Development of Macroeconomic Forecasting Models (2010) |
The objective of this assignment was to organise and deliver training for representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on macroeconomic forecasting models and the organisation of macro forecasting within the state economic policy system. Two study visits (one to France and one to the UK) on issues of macroeconomic forecasting modelling were organised. The programme of the visits included meetings with executive specialists and research fellows directly involved in the macroeconomic forecasting system of the country at governmental and non-governmental levels. |

Energy Saving Initiative in the Building Sector (ESIB) (2010-2015) |
This project aims to help the INOGATE Partner Countries reduce their dependency on fossil fuels, improve the security of their energy supply, and allow them to contribute more actively to climate change mitigation. Specifically, the ESIB project is to assist the INOGATE Partner Countries in ensuring improved control of their energy consumption in the building sector by promoting and developing Energy Efficiency (EE) as well as the use of Renewable Energy (RE) where applicable, in this particular area. |
| Strengthening of Environmental Management (2006-2007) |
The project’s aim was to provide technical assistance to the MEPP in the preparation of a National Strategy for Environmental Approximation (NSEA) providing a comprehensive route-map of prioritized actions for achieving full compliance with all 10 sectors of the EU environmental acquis. Covering all aspects of approximation and providing assistance in planning a coherent investment programme, it was to contribute to creating the conditions for sustainable development in the fYR of Macedonia. |
