The overall objective of the National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN) is to contribute to the reduction of undernutrition. The primary goal of the NIPN is to build the capacity to analyse data for assessing progress, informing policy and improving nutrition programmes. In particular, the NIPN aims to establish relationships between nutrition indicators and any investments made in nutrition in order to better understand and guide strategic nutrition policy choices and priorities. The technical assistance provides support on the needs assessment, the integration of nutrition-sensitive sectors into nutrition policies and advocacy and capacity building in statistical and data analysis. |

The purpose of the PEEAE2 project is to restructure and extend the electricity distribution networks in 9 towns in Senegal: Saint Louis, Zinguinchor, Kaolack and Fatick, Thiès, Tivouane and Mbour, Touba and Diourbel. The extension and rehabilitation works, estimated at EUR 20 million, concern 214 km of MV lines and 165 km of LV lines, the creation and rehabilitation of 85 MV/LV substations, and the remote control of 74 MV/LV switching stations. The Owner’s engineer mission includes two phases: a review of existing studies/procurement and the supervision of the works/management of the company's contract. The services aim to ensure the smooth running of the works in accordance with the contractual specifications and in compliance with quality standards, deadlines and costs, as well as the efficient commissioning of the project. The engineer acts as the Client's representative. |

Phase 1 of the project focuses on the gap analyses, legal reforms, risk assessments, tender strategy formulation, capacity building and communication planning to ensure readiness for competitive bidding. Phase 2 involves executing the first renewable energy tender, providing end-to-end transaction advisory services, including bid management, evaluation and commercial close. The project aims to amalgamate technical, legal and financial knowledge, aligned with global standards in PPP renewable energy project tendering practices. |
