| Since its creation more than 30 years ago, SOFRECO has carried out over 1100 assignments (many of which exceed the EUR 1 million mark) in more than 130 countries throughout the world, most of which are emerging or developing countries, but also in France and other EU countries.
We have three types of client:
- governments, administrations and public bodies;
- public and private companies;
- multilateral and bilateral development funding agencies.
The majority of the contracts implemented by SOFRECO fall within the scope of programmes linked to sustainable development and poverty reduction, and are financed by the major multilateral and bilateral funding agencies, first and foremost the European Commission and the World Bank.
SOFRECO also carries out assignments funded by regional development banks (the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, etc.) and bilateral cooperation agencies (particularly the French Development Agency). |
