Innovation, Inclusion and Quality. Consulting Services for Strengthening the Quality of Pre-service Teacher Education

(Pre qualification phase)


The consulting services under this Worl Bank Funded assignment will focus on a range of activities and deliverables that have the overall objective of building the capacity of the state universities in Georgia and MES to implement modern academic programs for preparing the teachers, with special emphasis at the level of basic and secondary education.




QUALIFICATION
A. Advanced university degree in Education or in another related discipline (for example, Education Management, Philosophy of Education, Educational Psychology, Comparative Education, Sociology of Education, Education Technology, etc);
B. 10 years of experience in HE quality assurance and/or institutional development/capacity building;
C. 5 years of experience of managing/participating in the projects of similar assignments implemented internationally;

D. Experience of working with the Government agencies and donors;



E. Experience in managing technical teams /consultants to prepare analytical work;
F. Strong leadership and analytical skills;
G. Fluency in written and spoken English;
H. Prior knowledge of and work experience in the education sector in EU/UK or US will be an advantage.
