Supervision of studies, supplies and construction works for transmission, distribution and rural electrification networks (PRETD) (2018-2021)
The objective of the Power Transmission and Distribution Networks Reinforcement Project (PRETD) is to develop and reinforce the power transmission and distribution facilities defined hereafter:
- creation of the Bingerville 220/20kV substation and restructuring of the Bingerville MV network;
- doubling of the Soubré-San Pedro 225 kV line and related works at the 225 kV substations of Soubré and San Pedro;
- construction of the Duékoué-Zagné 225 kV line, of the 225/33 kV substations of Duékoué and Zagné, and of the 33 kV Zagné-Taï line, and restructuring of the MV networks of Duékoué, Zagné and Taï;
- rural electrification of 252 localities, contributing to a rise in coverage in the country's west zone (Montagnes District) of 26.45%, i.e. a national increase of 3 points.

Support to the PMU of the Small-Scale Irrigation and Food Security Programme (PISA) (2016-2020)
The overall objective of the PISA Programme (Small-Scale Irrigation and Food Security) is to help promote productive agriculture and food security in Niger, and specifically: i) increase agricultural production, ii) improve the revenues of small-scale farmers, and iii) facilitate market access for agricultural products. PISA is taking place in three regions (Tillaberi, Agadez and Tahoua) VIA A Project Management Unit (PMU) for the implementation of its components.

Control and supervision of the extension, reinforcement and rehabilitation works on the distribution networks in the cities of Abidjan, Bouaké and San-Pedro (ENERGOS) (2017-2023)
The project aims to strengthen electricity services in three of Côte d’Ivoire’s main cities. It is made up of: a ‘distribution network’ component, including the extension of HV and LV networks (lines and stations); a ‘public lighting’ component, to replace lamps by more economic models, and a component to train the Contracting Authority and Project Manager.
The Consultant is providing support services to the Contracting Authority and Project Manager for the control and supervision of the construction works of the two components of the ENERGOS project, including revision of the technical studies, project management, administration of the Contractors’ contracts, preparation and technical supervision of the works, their administrative and financial verification, tests and provisional and definitive acceptance, and monitoring during the guarantee period.

Long term technical assistance for the resettlement plan of the Kandadji Ecosystems Regeneration and Niger Valley Development Programme (KERNVDP) (2011-2015)
The Kandadji Ecosystems Regeneration and Niger Valley Development Programme (KERNVDP) involves building a dam and its related structures, providing support for the development of 45 000 ha of irrigated perimeters, and building a hydroelectric power plant. The programme's objective is to reduce poverty through natural regeneration, and by improving food security and covering energy requirements.
Its implementation will lead to the involuntary displacement of approximately 38,000 people and their resettlement on new sites.
The primary goal of the technical assistance is to support the Project Implementation Unit in the resettlement process for programme affected populations.

Technical assistance to the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Analysis (INSAE) to update and develop a compendium of indicators - metadata study (2012)
This project is part of the implementation of the National Statistical Development Strategy and is intended to support the Beninese government in monitoring the implementation of the Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy 3 (GPRS) and its development policies.
The assignment’s objective is to support the establishment of metadata in Benin, i.e. the body of predominantly textual information that makes it possible to understand the context in which statistical data are collected, processed and analysed in order to create statistical information (legal and regulatory texts, methods and concepts used at all levels of processing, definitions and nomenclature, etc.).

Technical assistance to the Directorate General of Water Resources of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (2011-2012)
The general objective of the Water Sector Support Project – Solar Rural Hydraulics (PASE-HRS) is to improve the living conditions of rural and semi-urban populations.
Within this framework, the technical assistance to the Directorate General of Water Resources focused on:
- institutional support at central and regional level (updating of the Water and Sanitation Master Plan, strengthening of the institutional framework, IWRM (integrated water resource management) road map, reflection on the Water Code);
- technical support to set up 30 new solar-powered drinking water supply systems (identification of the sites, preparation of the bidding documents and support with awarding contracts, pumping trials, construction surveys, training of coordinators);
- specific activities in terms of (i) capacity building for the actors, (ii) monitoring and evaluation of the projects, and (iii) awareness-raising on hygiene in the regions of Bafata, Gabu, Oio and Tombali.
