Support for the formulation of two twinning fiches: ‘Support for the establishment of a National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI)’ and ‘Further support for agriculture, rural development and food safety’ (2019)
The global objective of this assignment is to support the development of the policy, legal and institutional framework for the effective implementation of the EU-Republic of Moldova Association Agenda. The specific objectives are to: (i) support the Agency of Land Relations and Cadastre to formulate a draft twinning fiche on ‘Support for the establishment of an NSDI through the improvement of spatial data sharing and cooperation in accordance with EU standards’, and (ii) support the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment to formulate a draft twinning fiche on ‘Further support for agriculture rural development and food safety’. By providing technical assistance and sharing best international practices related to their individual fields of expertise, SOFRECO's experts will contribute to drafting each twinning fiche, which will help develop the Republic of Moldova's policies in line with EU policies.

Design and development of an integrated system of social protection for vulnerable groups (orphans, victims of domestic violence, street children, young prisoners) and support to their integration into society through the provision of policy advice, the establishment of 4 pilot centres and of models of service provision in the regions, capacity building, training, and awareness building.

Improved capacity building for teachers' professional development (training of pre-school and primary teachers) (2018-2020)
The purpose of this project is to strengthen the quality of the pre-university education sector by:
(i) building capacities at local/municipal level to establish sustainable teacher professional development at school level;
(ii) introducing a teacher mentoring system in Kosovo's school system;
(iii) establishing a criteria-based and transparent teacher recruitment system.

Technical assistance for the implementation of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme (HRDOP) (2008)
Support to the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security and its affiliated bodies to prepare for the implementation of the measures to promote women's participation in the labour market and registered employment, as identified in the Human Resources Development Operational Programmes.
Preparation of tendering documentation for the implementation of the measures identified in the HRDOP.

Technical assistance for capacity building on safety and security training requirements of Turkish civil aviation (2015-2017)
The purposes of this project are as follows:
- To undertake activities that will help the operationalisation of a new civil aviation training centre in Istanbul by developing an effective training policy, programme, curriculum, and other necessary policies and documents focused on safety and security aspects based on the EU acquis and relevant international legislation in the air transport sector.
- To ensure the visibility of the training centre by developing a communication campaign targeting stakeholders and the general public in Turkey and abroad.

Technical assistance for the construction of regional industrial collaboration in cotton fibre manufacturing (2016-2018)
The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of cotton and its marketing with, on the one hand, a standardised method for analysing the cotton produced, and on the other hand, strengthening of the actors’ capacities in terms of sales techniques (use of the new standard, creation of a business network, on-lining of information, training on client relations, organisation of promotion events).
