Strengthening the International Tax Training Centre (1996-1999)
Technical assistance and training engineering for the Ministry of Taxes and for the ITTC (International Tax Training Centre), set up in 1993 by the Federal Tax Administration, the OECD and the European Union. This Centre aims to put western experience at the service of the Russian tax administration to ensure sustainable know-how transfer. It coordinates the multiple training initiatives of the donors aiming to support Russia's tax reform. The project's long-term objective was to support the Russian government's efforts to establish effective revenue collection and compliance mechanisms. The Consultant was tasked with the Centre's management and providing high quality training in cooperation with other stakeholders represented in the steering committee (USAID, OECD, World Bank, IMF, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, etc).

Technical assistance to the Rural Development Project of the Regional Development Programme of the GAP region (south-east Turkey) (2004-2007)
Support to the GAP RDA administration for the institution and management of a 20M€ grant for the rural communities of 9 provinces of south-east Turkey. Activities: publicity of the grant system, support for project preparation and contractualisation with the Delegation of the EU, technical, administrative and financial support and training to the 84 selected projects, monitoring and evaluation, procurement monitoring, capacity building.
