Moroccan mining industry health and safety improvement programme (2018-2021)
The Moroccan mining industry is facing some serious health and safety issues. The number of work-related accidents and occupational diseases that are becoming more and more serious seems to be growing compared to other industrial sectors.
Aware of this situation, the EBRD has launched a request for proposals aiming to select a consultant who will be in charge of conducting a study to analyse the health and safety issues of the Moroccan mining industry. This study includes a legal and practical analysis of the situation and puts forward some recommendations to strengthen the capacity of operators and administration in order to align health and safety management in Moroccan mines with the best international practices.

Support for the development and promotion of agricultural and food products (2023-2024)
Support to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) in Algeria for the development and promotion of agricultural and food products, through 5 priority areas: i) labelling of agricultural products or products of agricultural origin, ii) standardisation/development of agricultural production and products of agricultural origin, iii) launching of 'organic agriculture' certification, iv) modernisation of veterinary services, and v) modernisation of the agricultural and rural information system. As such, SOFRECO participates in: i) the strengthening of quality assurance systems for agricultural and food products, ii) the modernisation of the Algerian Veterinary Information System and the strengthening of user capacities, and iii) the improvement of the governance of the agricultural and rural information system.

Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the realization of a greenfield fertilizer complex to produce phosphate- and potash-based fertilizers such as sulfate of potash (SOP), phosphoric acid and specialty fertilizers to meet market demand in Jordan and surrounding areas of Europe and the Middle East. The complex will make use of and add value to locally available muiriate of potash (MOP) and phosphate rock.

Mineral Resource Estimate and Mining Study for the PHOS-3 Project (2020)
The objective of the project was to carry out a mineral resource estimate and mining study as part of MA'ADEN's project feasibility study: PHOS-3 phase 1. Two scenarios were analysed: 4.5 Mt RoM per year and 9 Mt RoM per year.

Technical Assistance for the Coordination of the Support to Regulatory Reform and Privatisation in Infrastructure (SRRP programme) (2006-2010)
The overall objective of the EUR 20 million SRRP programme is to enhance the economic efficiency of Infrastructure in Jordan, in terms of costs, quality and range of services, thus allowing to improve access of the population to infrastructure services (telecom, electricity, civil aviation, transport), in terms of coverage and affordability.
The specific objectives of the SRRP programme are to:
- Develop effective mechanisms of regulation of infrastructure in line with best international practices
- Strengthen the capacity of the State to promote effective private participation in infrastructure in a consistent and transparent manner, and
- Increase competition in infrastructure services.

Compliance review: conceptual and practical comparison of national anti-corruption legislation and practice vis-à-vis the requirements of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption UNCAC (in particular chapters 2 to 5 of the UNCAC: prevention, criminalisation and law enforcement, international cooperation, asset recovery).
- Holding of a workshop and identification of potential partners both at national and regional/international level
