The general objective of this technical assistance mission is to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge of the European Union and its institutions, policies and procedures, by the civil servants of the Tunisian Republic and the active forces of the nation (economic, diplomatic and civil society spheres). |

SOFRECO is providing technical assistance to the Water 2050 Project initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries in 2009, which aims to develop the country’s vision and strategy for the water sector through 2050. Within the Project Coordination Unit and under the supervision of the Director-General of BPEH, the TA involves: (1) preparing the launch of the project, particularly through the development and supervision of the implementation of a capacity building programme for the actors before the start of the study; (2) supervising, coordinating and controlling the quality of the strategic study; and (3) coordinating and managing the participatory process for the actors. |
