The assignment involved individual coaching for the Secretary General of the Comoros Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, the Environment, Tourism and Handicrafts on the subject of ''Ministerial management of public policies''.
In each country, governments draw up and publish a medium-term strategic document setting out the main objectives to be achieved in terms of economic and social development. This document is broken down into ''sectoral public policies'', which are implemented by the various ministries in their respective fields. Consequently, in application of the principles of results-based management (RBM), the senior managers of the ministries are responsible for guiding, steering and evaluating the day-to-day action of their administration in the service of "public policies", and the aim of this training was to build the capacity of this official in these key areas. |
