Training in 'Digitalisation and Electronic Document Management (EDM)' (2022)
The mission consisted of training several civil service officials from Central and West Africa (the National Agency for the Fight against Corruption - ANLC - in Guinea, the DRC Ministry of Health and the Road Fund in Cameroon) on the theme: Digitalisation and Electronic Document Management (EDM). This 10-day training course aimed at enabling the participants to:
- Acquire knowledge of the risks of poor archive management and discover the challenges of setting up an archiving system;
- Learn the methods of digitalisation of administrative information and discover its standards and regulations;
- Acquire knowledge of the contributions of new technologies for the de-materialisation of documents and processes;
- Discover and master the contributions of EDM as their professions evolve;
- Understand the methodology of technological project management: from Record Management (RM) to EDM.

The mission includes the preparation of educational materials and logistics as well as the conduct of a training session for 9 officials of the National Agency for the Fight against Corruption and the Promotion of Good Governance (ANLC) of Guinea, in Conakry, on the theme of 'Techniques for detecting fraud and corruption in public procurement'. This training course lasts 5 days.

Technical assistance mission to develop and implement the geolocation of basic and post-basic schools in Burundi (2021-2022)
The World Bank Group, through the International Development Association (IDA), and the Government of Burundi have agreed to set up the Project to support the improvement of early school-leaving skills (PAADESCO-Shishikara) in order to contribute, among other things, to the development of EMIS performance with a view to introducing the "Geographic Information System (GIS)" component. In order to strengthen and complete the work currently being carried out by the Education Planning and Statistics Office (BPSE) with UNICEF support to develop and perpetuate the EMIS, PAADESCO will target through this mission the geolocation of all basic and post-basic schools (approximately 7,500 schools) in Burundi, in addition to the nominative census of all teachers, including the Head Teachers, in basic schools.

Recruitment of a consultant for the training of energy sector managers in team management and other related topics (2021-2022)
The main objective of the mission is to strengthen the technical capacity of three agents, respectively from the Beninese Rural Electrification and Energy Management Agency (ABERME), the General Directorate of Water, Forests and Hunting (DGEFC) and the Programming and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Energy (DPP/ME) through the following individual training activities:
- Leadership, roles and responsibilities of the Manager (5 days);
- Approach to the certification of public accounts (10 days);
- Audit and control issues and needs in the context of public management reforms (10 days).

In the framework of this project, the Financial Director of the Mining Registry of the Democratic Republic of Congo was trained on the theme: Managing and decision-making in times of uncertainty: risk management and business continuity plan in times of crisis.
At the end of the training, the participant was able to:
- Understand the concept of risk in its multiple meanings and dimensions
- Master the dynamics of risk emergence (sources) and propagation (impact)
- Master the approaches, principles, methods and organisational tools for responding to risks
- Evaluate the stakes and the organisational relevance of deploying a risk management system.

At the end of the training, participants will be able/know how to:
- Translate into operational terms the strategic objectives of the public policies for which they are responsible
- Translate into operational terms the strategic objectives of the public policies they are responsible for implementing;
- Master the methods of managerial communication to mobilise the actors;
- Identify the main indicators;
- Understand how to enhance the documents used to report on the performance of their administration (quarterly reports and annual programme performance reports);

Training in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Contract Management (2022)
The mission consisted in a 10- (ten) day training, for six (6) executives from various West and Central African institutions (Executive Council of Urban Transport of Dakar [CETUD], Ministry of the Budget of DRC and AGEROUTE Senegal) on the following topic: Management of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts. The main objective of this training was to ensure that participants gained a full understanding of the strategic, conceptual and operational issues as well as the context and justification for the use of PPP arrangements (advantages and disadvantages).

Capacity Building and Institutional Support for the Programme to Support the Development of Balanced Cities (PADEVE) - Fixed Phase and Conditional Phase (2017-2022)
The Government of the Republic of Madagascar requested financial support from the French Development Agency for the implementation of the Programme to support the development of balanced cities (PADEVE).
PADEVE mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the populations of the communes of Antsiranana (Diégo Suarez), Fianarantsoa, Toliara (Tuléar), Antsirabe, Toamasina and Mahajanga in Madagascar, by creating an environment with infrastructures and urban services conducive to economic development and to strengthening the technical and financial capacity of decentralised authorities to efficiently management urban services and invest in public equipment.
The objective is to propose an integrated approach aiming to building the communes’ capacities in a sustainable and structural manner, by creating long-term capacity and supporting the planned investments.
