The assignment consisted of training senior officials from public and private administrations in Central Africa and West Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo and Senegal) on the subject of: Human Resources (HR) Steering and the Planned Management of Employment and Skills. At a time when the imperatives of efficiency and effectiveness of public organisations are increasing, it is essential for them to move from personnel administration to the planned management of human resources in all its dimensions. With this in mind, this training course offered the techniques and language keys essential to the gradual development of the planned management of employment and skills. |

The assignment consisted of training senior executives from the General Directorate of the Treasury and the Brazzaville City Hall (Republic of Congo) on the theme: Legal, fiscal and financial management of a local authority. Over ten days, the participants strengthened their capacities in order to acquire a command of the legal, fiscal and financial framework of a local authority, a command of the tools and methods necessary for the good management of a local authority, as well as knowledge of the components of decision-making. |
| Capacity building on renewable energy project development and funding for Zambian financial institutions (2023) |
The objective of the assignment is to build the capacity of selected local commercial banks, institutional investors, and the Zambian financial industry for its enhanced understanding on renewable energy financing. The specific objectives of this assignment are to provide training and workshops to enhance knowledge and capacity in the following areas: Deals origination, funding structures, project appraisals, financing and investment/credit policy, risk management, environmental and social impact studies (E&S), legal structuring and technical due diligence. |

This 10-day training course was designed to strengthen skills as well as theoretical and technical knowledge in the field of public-private partnership management. In addition, 10 hours of individual coaching was organised by distance learning on the use of specific IT tools for good budget planning. |

| Training in results-based management of development cooperation projects (2023) |
The OIF wanted to strengthen the professional technical skills of project managers in order to improve the quality of the cooperation projects it deploys in terms of results-based management, project management and performance. To this end, SOFRECO organised and facilitated training sessions for 30 IFM project managers, organised in two groups of 15 people each, to strengthen their capacity to manage cooperation projects based on results, based on best practices and tools used in the field of development cooperation project management. |
