Technical assistance for a programme to support the reform of Morocco’s justice sector (2018-2021)
The overall objective of the EU's programme to support justice reform is to contribute to the reform of Morocco’s judicial system in order to heighten its efficiency.
Specific objectives:
- Provide assistance to the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to: (i) support it in coordinating the implementation of priority activities to reform the judicial system and the EU programme to support the sector's reform (ii) help build up institutional capacities for the implementation of the Reform Charter; (iii) promote the coherence of the legal system vis-à-vis international standards and conventions ratified by Morocco in this field.
- Provide technical support to the MoJ, the Superior Council of the Judiciary and the Prosecutor General’s Office for the implementation of activities under the EU support programme, and to carry out studies, surveys, assessments, and training.
- Assist with communication activities as regards the justice reform in Morocco and the EU programme to support justice: development and implementation of a communication strategy and plan.

Mid-term and final evaluations of the ethical fashion initiative in Burkina Faso and Mali (2020-2021)
This mid-term evaluation is to introduce a rider prior to the next operational Committee in order to revise the log frame and to potentially extend the implementation period of the project up to the second semester 2021. The recommendations should be concrete, operational and directly actionable.
The main users of these two evaluations will be the European Commission (headquarters and European Union Delegations in Burkina Faso and other countries where the International Trade Centre-Ethical Fashion Initiative (ITC-EFI) programme is being deployed; ITC (headquarters); ITC-EFI (programme team) and all related national stakeholders from Mali and Burkina Faso in particular, but also other European social enterprise stakeholders.

Final evaluation of the Gender programme (phases 1 and 2) (2020-2021)
The objective of this mission is to provide the stakeholders (EU, Central African Republic, Member States of the Bêkou Fund, the Ministry for the Promotion of Women, Family and Child Protection [MPFFPE], implementing partners, Central African civil society and final beneficiaries) with an overall analysis of the programme’s performance, lessons learned and related conclusions and recommendations.
One of the evaluation’s specific objectives is to help formulate subsequent action on gender to consolidate the achievements and ensure that they last. The analysis therefore focuses on explaining the performance of the action, and its decisive and constricting factors, and should enable forward-looking recommendations to be identified for all stakeholders.
The statement of lessons learned and good practices should act as a basis for the planning of the EU’s future actions and interventions.

Technical assistance to strengthen Tunisian decision-makers' knowledge of the European Union: design and implementation of a training system on the EU and its policies - pilot project (2019-2021)
The technical assistance mission for strengthening Tunisian decision-makers' knowledge on the European Union through the design and implementation of a training system on the EU and its policies falls within the framework of the Programme of Support to the Association Agreement and Transition 3 (P3AT3) from which the Ministry of Development, Investment and International Cooperation (MDICI) and the Diplomatic Institute for Training and Studies (IDFE) benefit.
The general objective of this technical assistance mission is to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge of the European Union and its institutions, policies and procedures, by the civil servants of the Tunisian Republic and the active forces of the nation (economic, diplomatic and civil society spheres).

The aim of this project was to build sustainable capacity in public procurement within the Office of Procurement Regulation (OPR) and among stakeholders and to edit the handbook and guidelines to be used by public bodies in public procurement.

The systematic and relevant evaluation of its programmes and activities is an established priority of the European Commission. The evaluation focuses on an analysis of outputs and the achievement and quality of the results of the actions, in the context of a constantly evolving cooperation policy with an increasing focus on results-based approaches and the contribution to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The global objective is to increase local CSOs’ capacity to perform their roles as independent development actors more efficiently.

The project ‘Support to the quality infrastructure framework within a DCFTA context in the Republic of Moldova’ supports the efforts of the Government of Moldova (GoM) to progress in some of the crucial areas foreseen by the Association Agreement, which are linked with the improvement of public governance, economic recovery and growth, i.e.: 1) quality infrastructure, 2) market surveillance, 3) internal and external markets and opportunities, 4) competitiveness awareness in an AA/DCFTA context.
